These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pmessentialskills.com (the "Site") and the digital courses, mock exams, certificates, and software (including Course Creator Suite) offered or linked to by PM Essential Skills ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms.
PM Essential Skills is an independent education provider offering project management certification prep content, including masterclasses hosted on Udemy, and Course Creator Suite, a course-production software product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of PMI, ISC2, Scrum.org, or any certification body referenced on this Site. Content is prepared to help learners study for these certifications; it does not guarantee exam success or certification.
This Site does not process payments or collect card details directly. All purchases happen on third-party marketplaces: Course Creator Suite is sold through Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy (each acting as its own Merchant of Record), and our courses are sold through Udemy. Each marketplace handles payment collection, tax, invoicing, and your order confirmation under its own terms — this Site only links you to them.
Access to purchased courses and software is granted by the marketplace you purchased through (Udemy, Gumroad, or Lemon Squeezy), per that marketplace's own delivery process. Access is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not share, resell, redistribute, or publicly post course materials or software license keys.
Purchasing Course Creator Suite grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on up to five (5) devices you own or control, tied to your license key. It is licensed, not sold — PM Essential Skills retains all rights, title, and intellectual property in the software.
You may not: resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the software or your license key to any third party; share your license key outside your own devices; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive its source code; circumvent, disable, or tamper with its license validation or anti-tampering mechanisms; remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notice; or use the software to build a competing product.
This license terminates automatically on breach of these terms. PM Essential Skills may revoke a license key at any time — including on refund, chargeback, or confirmed breach — and may pursue legal remedies, including marketplace takedown requests, against unauthorized copies or resale.
The AI-driven mock exams and any Contact Hours / attendance certificates issued by this Site are study aids and records of completion. They are not official certification exam results and do not substitute for sitting the actual certification exam with the relevant certifying body. Attempt limits and cooldown periods (currently: 3 attempts across all exams, then a 30-day waiting period) apply as displayed on the Site.
All course content, question banks, comic-strip illustrations, and site materials are the property of PM Essential Skills unless otherwise noted, and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our written permission.
The Site and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, PM Essential Skills is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content, including exam outcomes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
